Scared Faces

Overpowered by the Brave

The Trenches are Getting Dirty

And Nights are Getting Hard

Everyday I see,

Another Broken Heart

No Matter How Hard I try not to

I Begin to Cry

For the Loss of Life

Of Friends of Mine

They Suffer as they Lie There Dying

Of Gasses and Bullets

But I Never Stop Remembering

The Many Men Before Me

So I Stand Here Today,

Looking out in Fear,

But I Remember What I am Fighting For

My Children

My Sister

My Wife

My Friends

And My Brother Lying Beside Me
